My creative writing

This week we were focusing on creative writing. I chose a picture called Night Thieves from Pobble to write my story. I hope you enjoy my writing.

The Night Thieves

One afternoon soon before Bailey got home from school Lucy, Bailey's mum looked in the cupboard and saw that there was not enough food for tomorrow. So when Bailey got home Lucy told her that they needed to go shopping and also buy some more cat food for Bailey’s cat Kiki. It was actually late by the time the got into the car and drove down the driveway. Half way they had to stop at a traffic light, suddenly Bailey screamed and started pointing at the road. All of a sudden a little toy sized truck appeared out of nowhere, it seemed to be driving by itself! Mike saw the truck pick up a silver chain that was sitting on the side of the road. It looked like it was the chain from a Mother's Day present that Mike had given Lucy. He put it inside a hatch that he had opened. The truck turned and headed for the car when Mike beeped the horn and the truck fell backwards. Mike slowly got out of the car and picked it up the truck. He opened the hatch and saw things a millionaire would have rings, necklaces, watches and bracelets. He sat it in the boot and drove it to the nearest police station and handed it in. Now every night the family go out and see if there are any more night thieves as they call them……THE END

Playing golf

This week on Thursday we played golf with a man named Paul. It was so much fun and he told us these little sayings for playing golf. Feet together, hands together and tick tock like a clock for hitting the ball. We had to hit the ball at the target. The person with the lowest score wins. I am glad he came.

Environmental writing

Yesterday my class went outside to the court to look at our environment and write some words down on a piece of  paper. When we came inside we had to write something. I chose a poem. Hope you enjoy.
