Turtles
We have been learning about writing animal reports and turtles
Turtles
A turtle is a reptile which is an animal that lays eggs.
A turtle looks like a tortoise only with flippers. They can not stay on land as long as a tortoises can. Turtles have tough waterproof skin and two shells. They have an upper shell and lower shell, with a head poking out between the two.
Green sea turtles eat sea grasses and algae because they are herbivores.
Turtles lay eggs. The mother leaves the eggs alone until they hatch. Then the babies go to the sea and look after themselves.
Turtles live in many places. Sea turtles live in almost every ocean. Freshwater turtles live in shallow waters and in burrows on the land.

How you throw a shot put
For writing we have bean learning how to write explanations. I have written an explanation on how to throw a shot put.
How to throw a shot put
This is how you throw a shot put
Have you ever wondered how to throw a shot put? A shot put is a heavy ball that you push through the air.
First you hold the shot put against your neck with your fingertips on the ball. Look straight and hold the ball tight.
Next keep feet shoulder width apart and stay in the circle. Keep your right knee bent but stand straight like a tree.
Twist your body at the hips so you are looking at the back of the net. Put your other arm up in the direction you want to throw.
Finally twist your body back around and push the ball high into the air.
This is how to throw a shot put.

Partly Cloudy
Carefully the birds glided through the sky and dropped the bags. Watching the babies quietly walk inside there house’s. Flash dash! Carefully they picked up the babies from the friendly cloud’s. Sadly the grey cloud can't live with the pink cloud’s. The grey cloud made a baby crocodile. A bird came to pick up the baby crocodile but when he was going to grab it and it attacked him.
The next day he came back and slowly inched back from the cloud a little bit. A goat hit him in the stomach. The bird came back for another baby, it was a hedgehog and it poked him with the spikes. The bird came back again and he was terrified of what was coming next. He saw a pink cloud with cute baby puppies jumping around, so he flew to that cloud. The grey cloud was sad and started to cry. Then the bird came back with the bag and opened it. It was safety gear and he smiled. The bird asked for a baby and the baby was an electric eel that electrocuted him. But the bird smiled at him and the grey cloud was happy.
